Itchy redness at the site of a reent fracture?

Ds1 had a hairline fracture to his elbow ont he August bank holidy. His elbow has been out of plaster for over 3 weeks, but this evening he has got a red rash on around his elbow (and nowhere else that I can see). Co-incidence? He has had some strawberries which he has occasionally reacted to in the past. Struggling to think what else it might be?

Don't know if it's the same, but my Dad fell down the stairs and broke his leg a couple of years ago and was therefore in a cast.

No idea why, but he ended up getting eczema on the leg where it was broken.

It sounds like your DS may have done the same thing.
