Woken up with v swollen sore neck/jaw glands

Feeling a bit alarmed.

I feel absolutely fine in myself but one side of my neck/jaw is sore and swollen, the pain feels like swollen glands rather than muscular etc. Can't feel any hard lumpy glands, just general puffy swelling from the bottom of my ear, under my jawline and down my neck.

I do grind my teeth in my sleep sometimes, could that explain it? Or am I about to get struck down by some awful Christmas virus?

Don't think swollen glands are a Covid thing but naturally it's at the back of my mind.

Very odd, and very uncomfortable! Has appeared out of nowhere overnight.

My daughter had this a week ago. She took paracetamol and brufen and carried on through it all as she works outside ( farm ). She's ok again now . Hope you can power though too .

Thanks @waitrosetrollydolly, good to hear your daughters didn't amount to anything!

It's bizarre. Getting more swollen now I'm up and about too. Might try and speak to my GP on the phone if it's no better this afternoon, to put my mind at rest more than anything else!
