Yesterday DDs arm and armpit were hurting, when she had a proper look she found a painful lump and red patch at the top of her breast.
The GP saw her today and said it’s possibly mastitis but as DD isn’t pregnant(never has been)/nursing it’s unusual. DD started the antibiotics prescribed and was told to go back if it doesn’t get better once she’s completed them.
The redness has at least doubled since seeing the GP but the antibiotics haven’t yet kicked in.
Has anyone else had anything like this when not pregnancy related? I’ve attached a picture (DD has a large red birthmark which is visible in the picture but it’s clear which area is concerning).
