For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I just realized I had to come back and say there was loads of moaning and fighting too. I made us sound eerily perfect. Actually this american woman came up to me in the Accademia and said, 'You are talking so well, and your children are so responsive and interested. I think you must be the perfect family' and I said to her 'Oh no, just half an hour ago we were having lunch and I shouted 'SHUT UP' at them 'CAN YOU ALL STOP TALKING AND SCREAMING, YOU ARE DOING MY HEAD IN.'

Which was true, and she shrugged and said 'Gee, I'd never have guessed' and then she sort of stepped away with a funny little smile.

MrScarRot · 27/10/2007 11:48

Oh, yes, so I did. It was a funny joke Ba boom.

Now, you might need to work on them for the dinner party.

My dh periodically talks about moving to NZ, sometimes I think it would be good, at least for a while, but then I get scared and panic about having no friend networks for support and so on. I must not stay here for ever, though it's such a nice place to bring up children.

LOL at your dh saying 'high end', that sounds such an old thing to say, like high jinx or something. Oh, god, don't tell him that, not at his fortieth anyway.

TooTicky · 27/10/2007 11:56

100x I had the daftest imaginary conversation with you yesterday. I was hanging the washing out at the time and grinning like a loon and desperately hoping nobody was watching me. It was very funny actually. Now you think I am utterly mad.

Dd2 had an awful evening, a slightly better night and is more cheerful this morning but still really not well.

I made a Moroccan chick pea casserole this morning. Before breakfast.

ahundredtimes · 27/10/2007 12:18

Was it a row TooT? I hope not. I have imaginary rows with people all the time, especially dh's aunts for some reason. They are very good for imaginary rowing. I go over and over these rows in my head. DH's aunt once told me 'I won't have olive oil in the house. I don't believe in it.'

Honestly, you couldn't make these people up.

I have masses to do, so I'm doing nothing.

TooTicky · 27/10/2007 12:51

No no, not a row. It was very witty and clever. We met in the park...

TooTicky · 27/10/2007 12:53

at not believing in olive oil.
Dp's mother "doesn't believe" in recycling

FrannyandZooey · 27/10/2007 13:25

Oh god I have imaginary rows, too; I am convinced people are going to be really difficult and awkward and I rehearse all the cutting things I am going to say. Or how very reasonable I am going to be. And then in RL they are completely charming and I feel like an evil freak.

MrsC I didn't start till October, honest.

We seem split on the t-shirts. If it helps, I imagine they can be any colour or shape we want (TooT said we could send her a t-shirt), but we would definitely have to get organised now if we want them.

BBBee · 27/10/2007 15:24

LL is that you? I can;t do name changes.

100 - it sounds perfectly divine - I hope DH appreciated it. The dinner party will of course be a success. Esp. if you have a stiff gin at an early integer and wear special shoes.

For the meet up you should wear split t-shirts.

lionheart · 27/10/2007 15:25

I was still trying to work it out, LL. What the heck has been happening?

BBBee · 27/10/2007 15:26

Bocoreepy · 27/10/2007 15:45

Hello. I have an awful hangover. The world is one big dark room today. I had a nice evening, but when i'd run out of money and it was time to go home, my friends decided to buy shots of some awful combination of strawberry nesquick and tequila and make me drink them all very fast. And i didn't like to be rude. And now I can only move very slowly and carefully and i feel all wrong. Dp has not been sympathetic.

Bee I like those boots very much, they're cool and avengers like.

100 the trip sounds great, i love hearing about the things the 100s say. They're good stories. Hope the next phase of celebrations is a roaring success and that there are no games, except maybe a quick round of running man.

Toot i have imaginary arguments all the time. Not that you were arguing, you were having a right laugh.

I'm going to lie down and ignore everyone some more.

BBBee · 27/10/2007 15:45

oh sorry was off lookking at boots - how are you? how is everything going?

BBBee · 27/10/2007 15:46

hey bo-coe!

tell me you had a wonderful evening.

did you flick your hair and made everyone laugh with your stunning wit?

I so want to go out with you and drink nesquick cocktails and be silly.

zippitippitoes · 27/10/2007 15:49

nesquik and tequila sounds vile..they arte both vile individually what's wrong with a nice glass of wine

BBBee · 27/10/2007 15:51

she was made to do it zippi - by bad people and now her head hurts.

I have to go and do my daughter's IMO pointless homework.

Ho hum.

BBBee · 27/10/2007 15:52

I also bought some sponge bob pants for me for the sole purpose of flashing them at DS and DD and making them laugh.

They are cool - get some.
