It’s acute pain in my right top of shoulder/base of neck when I turn my head left.

I’ve got work tm ☹️ And can’t avoid turning or do light duties.

If you're not able to do your job, you need to take a sickness absence.

Shoulder pain is often referred. I had the worst pain I've ever experienced in the top of my right shoulder. I saw an osteopath, assuming it was a shoulder injury. He checked me over and said the shoulder was actually fine, but he could feel, by pressing my abdomen, that my liver was inflamed.

GP was very sceptical but antibiotics did cure it very quickly.

I had a weird shoulder pain after a biopsy in my uterus.

So as the above poster said it could be something else. Or just you’ve been sleeping weirdly.

I find ibuprofen takes hours to work but if you start taking them all day or at least a couple of hours prior to work, and take paracetamol in between the ibuprofen, that helps.

I’m on my second ibuprofen.

I can’t have a day off I’m self employed. I’m on the sofa with the heated throw tucked around my shoulders.

Did some rotator cuff exercises off the Internet.
