My ds has been diagnosed with this, poor thing, v gunky eyes etc. Plus has a nasty flu virus, plus teething! Bless. I am worried because we are due to flying week on Mon, any idea how long conjuctivits lasts for and if he could fly with it as I know its really contagious?

Should clear in a few days if you are using drops on presecription.

How old is he? Has he been given eyedrops? Over 2s can have chloramphenicol for bacterial conjunctivitis. It is contagious until the redness and discharge has gone. A few days without treatment (viral), about 24-48hrs with treatment (bacterial).
