Kidney pain plus blood and protein in urine

I'm looking for some not so doom and gloom problems that could be causing this. Trying not to worry but I'm struggling and have appt on Wednesday.
I've had dull aching pain in right kidney for approx 6weeks (always there) had same back in August but it went away.
Only on right side and apart from 2 separate days where it was quite painful it's been a dull ache the whole time. My mums a nurse - so I've done dipstick urine tests every couple of days for last 3/4 weeks. It always shows blood positive (the speckled one) and it has show protein positive too but not on every one.
Taking sample into docs and she's going to check my stomach too. But I've googled and nothing is stopping my worry.
I'm 32, female with no major medical history.

My partner had blood in his urine, this was bright red blood though - also weeing a lot in the night.

He was admitted to hospital (beginning of August) and it appeared he'd got a growth on his kidney. 3 weeks later he'd had his kidney removed.

It's quite common apparently. Unfortunately the growth was cancerous but appears to have been contained within his kidney so he's not needed any further treatment just a scan in a few months

Most likely a uti.
Antibiotics may be all that is needed op.
Have you upped your water intake to flush your system?

@Gohackyourself
Yes drinking lots of water not currently helping though. I thought uti but gp didn't seem convinced as no other symptoms and also dipstick negative for leukocytes and nitrates. This is my hope tho 🤞🏼

Maybe it’s referred pain from gallbladder or appendix- if she is going to check your stomach ?
I’m no help really but what I can say is if they were very worried ,they would send you off for blood tests to rule out stuff or admit you .
I don’t think it’s helpful to test your urine anymore yourself as that will make you anxious.
You can get blood in urine too near your periods.

Let's hope it is a UIT and antibiotics will sort it out.
