Any clever medical people out there? Badly hit my shin 2 weeks ago, bruise came up, and a dent in the shin, have now been left with a lump under the skin and it's sooo itchy

Should i be worried?

No. It is just healing.
Mind you I knocked my shin when I was aged 18 and now I am 32 and the bruise and dent are still there! Shins can have trouble healing because the blood supply ain't too good.

I read the title as "Baldy hit my shin"! was wondering if that was an unkind name for your baby - or possibly a violent stranger.

I'm not medical, but afaik, a deep bruise can cause some nerve damage and will also damage the skin and therefore itching isn't that unusual. If it doesn't seem to be healing (try Arnica cream, it's magic), then you should see a doctor to check for any infection.

I have a lump in my ankle from twisiting it badly whilst walking home pissed from friends a few months ago, it is also itchy.
