weird looking nappy area spots

Not sure if this is if this is nappy rash but DD 9m has rather large spots all over her nappy area, had them for about 6 weeks now and they seem to be getting worse. They are angry red and almost have heads on them but not quite, I only use water or unperfumed bio d wipes, sometimes sudocrem or vasaline but nothing is shifting them they are horrid - anyone have any ideas?

I am no expert in this and hope someone with more experience comes along, but it sounds like it could either be a severe case of nappy rash or possibly even thrush! I think a visit to Doctors is a good idea as he/she may need to prescribe a steroid based cream to help clear it up.

an infection that will probably need antibiotic cream, dd had this.

i am going to the docs on monday x
