Gallstones and/ or Acid reflux after pregnancy

Hi! After a bit of reassurance if anyone has been in the same boat please?

Bit of a long post so bare with me πŸ™ˆ

I started having severe pain in the top of my tummy from 8 weeks pregnant. Doctors always put it down to being pregnant to begin with. It was always worse after eating and the pain mostly went away if I was sick.

As my pregnancy went on the doctors gave me omeprazole and gaviscon to try and relieve the pain (it didn't) by the time I was 38 weeks pregnant I could hardly keep any food down as I was in agony every time I was eating πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ I was the given a ultrasound that found I have gallstones.

My baby is now almost 8 months old and I am still in agony with it and gave a very limited diet. I have been booked in for a pre assessment to have my gallbladder removed the end of December so hoping this will stop my pain 🀞

But my concerns are that several doctors have suggested that It might be something other than my gallbladder that is also causing my pain πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈand that I might need a camera to check.

Anyone had anything similar? Thanks
