I had a ruptured ear drum in June last year, it has healed then ruptured again and I’ve had four ear infections in that time, the last one which was the worst by far was last month.
I got referred to ENT and had a hearing test today. In the ear I’ve had problems with I’ve got moderate borderline severe hearing loss. He said my cochlear was fine so probably due to the ear drum, but my hearing was bad even when there was no hole in it. I’ve got to wait for a follow up appointment with the Doctor.
Has anyone had permanent hearing loss like this and if so did they do anything.
