Clicky Hips

My DD was born with dislocatable hips due to a breech birth.

It was thought that she might need to go into a brace, but her hips seemed to normalise by the time she was a few months old.

She's now two and several times a day I can hear her hips clicking. When I ask her if they hurt she says they don't.

She is brilliant at running and jumping and dashing around all over the place. She doesn't have a limp or any other tell tale sighs, just these awful clicks.

Has anyone else out there experienced similar.

Thanks.

Daisydot.

Thanks for getting back to me.

We have been referred onto a consultant to get his views on the situation.

I'm dreading him suggesting an operation.

It's good to hear of someone else out there with the same problem. Thanks very much for putting my mind at rest a little more.
