Feeling of something stuck in my throat

I feel as though there's a hair or tiny bit of food stuck at the back of my tongue and it won't go away.

I can eat and drink OK and it doesn't hurt, I haven't got a sore throat. I don't have a cold at all.

It feels really odd and I can't see anything, I've had this for a few days now. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks, BL

My step mother has just had the exact same thing. What she thought was a little piece of food, turned out to be a little benign cyst. It was growing and she had day surgery to have it removed. Def worth getting it checked out.

I get the feeling like that sometimes after swallowing tablets - I keep drinking water but swallowing is uncomfortable and my chest feels a bit tight. It never lasts more than the day though Confused

Hi, was wondering if anyone new or had the same problem as me, I feel like I have a tiny piece of food, or flake type feeling in my throut, I have tried gargling salted water and drinking water but it has not gone, so I thought it was a scratch but it feels like it's moving, it's not giving me pain, just discomfort can anyone help ?!

I hoped gingeroots would see this. She has experience of a serious throat problem , and that's why she's advising you to see the GP. Do listen to her.
