I took my four year old dd1 for her pre school booster back in august. It was horrible as she was so brave but it really hurt her and she got quite upset. I was told that all the jabs were over now and that's what I kept telling her: you'll never have to have these again etc etc. Anyway today i got a letter to say I have missed her immunisation and how important these are blah blah. Well I assumed there had been some mistake so phoned the HV who has said the government have now decided from September that children need a HIB booster with the preschool ones. As my dd had hers in August before they had decided this, she's got to go back to have another jab. Any child that hasn't had their pre school booster yet are fine, they can have it all at the same time. Anyone else have this happen?
