Im sorry if there have been similar threads on this but at first glance I couldn't see.
The thing is DS has been unwell since last thursday, he was fine in himself but was sick at the childminders so I had to collect him. He was sick 2-3 times a day and was last sick on monday evening whilst asleep. People keep telling me it was bug 'It's going around'. But he still isnt eating that much, and is sleeping more than usual. today he ate about half a bowl of porridge for brekie, no lunch and has been in bed since 1pm. (he is still there now, I have tried to get him up for his tea but he just cries and wants to go back to sleep.)
I would have taken him to already but have such little faith in them since they missdiagnosed him a few months ago when he had tonsillitis.
I have checked his tonsills and they seem fine, he doesn't have a temp. He just doesn't want to eat much and wants to sleep all the time.

Am I just over worried?? Sorry to waffle on....

Jodie x

He is 2 btw

I would take him to the doctor personally, as it has been going on for a week now...I know they can be crap and misdiagnose sometimes, but make them aware of this and tell them you want them to be thorough.

I hope he's better soon

Do you think he could be dehydrated? That would be my worry (if you pinch the skin on the back of his hand it should just spring back if he is ok...I think also - though not so sure about this - if you press on his fingernails the colour will come back immediately if he is ok) I would take him to the doctors tomorrow if you are concerned, you know him best.

Oh actually, i've just re-read your post, is he not being sick now? If not then prob. fine on the dehydration thing here's where to check if you are concerned though
