I've had a fairly niggling ache combined with a few sharp pains in my left shoulder / back / chest with a slight cough for about 6 months now. Chest xray back in June showed up clear, covid test negative.
It's recently got worse and the cough is more substantial, so went back to my GP yesterday. He hopes the cough is down to silent reflux (medication prescribed), but he also checked my breasts and found a small lump in my left breast that felt somewhat painful, like pushing on a bruise.
I have been put through for a 2 week referral. I ordinarily wouldn't stress about it, as I've had a couple of lumps checked before which were nothing, but combined with the chest and shoulder pain I'm getting a little concerned.
No idea what I'm asking for other than a bit of a handhold and any similar experiences to put my mind at ease.
