I've just caught DS2 playing in toilet (with water) - What are the chances of catching a bug!!!!

DS1 had gone toilet and not flushed and not closed the door after himself (thankfully just a wee).

Just came out of the kitchen to catch DS2 coming out of the d/s toilet with a big smile on face, water on his sleeves (and face!) and water on toilet seat and surrounding floor!!!!!

Once we get past the zero supervision point (I was in the kitchen unloading some shopping)- what are the chances of him catching something?!

I did clean it yesterday, but only flashwipe job (Friday is cleaning day).

fairly minimal I would have thought.

as long as he didnt wrestle a huge turd out of there, think he will be ok!!!
LOL!!!

none if no one has a bug at the moment in your house

MrsPuddleduck · 11/10/2007 14:46

No bugs atm.

pretty unlikely I reckon. toilets usually have less bacteria in than trainers and teatowels!

Desiderata · 11/10/2007 14:52

Minimal. I wouldn't worry; little boys are particularly obsessed with the toilet. Mine's nearly three and still does it occasionally. He hasn't come to any harm

sarahtwobratz · 11/10/2007 14:52

Highly unlikely. DD2 practically lives with her hands in the loo. Can't keep her out of it (or the toilet rolls)

MrsPuddleduck · 11/10/2007 14:54

Thanks all - I am feeling better now.

DS2 suffers from reflux so vomits on a fairly regular basis - self induced vomiting would just about top things off for me!

Probably done wonders for his immune system

sandyballs · 11/10/2007 14:59

Don't worry. I remember finding my twins sharing one of those fragranced rim flush things a few years ago. They were taking it in turns to lick it . It had been round the rim of the loo for weeks, so god only knows what was on it.

I was convinced they would collapse with a nasty bug but they were fine.

Slubberdegullion · 11/10/2007 15:02

I wouldn't worry. Have caught the dc on innumerable times doing frankly revolting things to/with/in the loo. No horrendous episodes of sickness afterwards.
