suspect I may have ADD as an adult

Morning all,

For a number of reasons I think I might have ADD (no hyperactivity). I am in my 30s but it's only really occurred to me now that there might be a reason for some of my issues relating to a serious lack of concentration and organisation rather than me just being scatterbrained.

Does anyone have any experience of being diagnosed as an adult, what i need to do and whether they got any treatment? Would now be an appropriate time to bother a GP over this?

Thanks.
