My daughter is two, and since Friday she has had a very bad stomach. Most days she had just been very frequent and very very sloppy (she is never very firm anyway). Yesterday she went 4 times in one hour. The CM has been very nice and has been looking after her (as all the other kids are at school / have it as well)

The thing is, she is also so sore and none of the cream I have are helping. She is so sore that she wont sit down, and she even stands for her food. She screams when we wipe her and begs us to stop as it is so sore.

My Q's are:

What magic creams haven't I tried? I have tried usual nappy rash stuff, the one beginning with a B and the yellow one beginning with an M (which smells really bad and usually works wonders)

What foods can I give her while she is getting better? She usually eats lots of fruit, dairy etc, what can I give her instead that will still be relatively healthy?

Many thanks. Poor soul, cant bear to see her sobbing anymore

these things always work best for us when ds has nappy rash:

emu oil
grapefruit seed extract
honey
egg white
germoline
morhulin

I have found camilosan (yes the nipple cream) to be really helpful for nappy rash.

DS had terrible nappy sores but we started wiping him with cotton wool soaked in cold chamomile tea (as recommended by a MNetter) and his bum really healed up.

Don't know if that'll help but good luck.
