do you still get ovulation pains if you have no bleed??

I went on the mini-pill back in august, have had odd spotting but no proper period or bleed. Today I have what I would think to be ovulation pains but is that possible?? Dont think i'm pregnant as I have had not other symptoms.

Thanks

I think you can still ovulate while on the minipill, so it may be ovulation pains(someone correct me if I'm wrong!)

Hi
I was told that on the mini-pill you still ovulate (Noriday anyway), and that's why it's not quite as effective as the combined pill.

I know I certainly still get ovulatory pains with it!

i'm taking cerrazette if that makes a difference

Yes, that is different.

Noriday contains Norethisterone which may or maynot stop ovulation whereas Cerazette contains Desogestrel which is supposed to stop ovulation!

have just done pregnancy test and was negative. Maybe i'm just having phantom period pains.

I get a lot of period type pains on and off all through the month, not bad, but crampy like TOM pains.

Hope you feel better soon!
