Part of tooth came away

Hopefully there’s someone who can advise...
Just eating my lunch and part of a tooth has come away. The area I’ve circled it’s one side of the base of a tooth that’s visible. When I run my tongue along it I can feel the gap, doesn’t feel sensitive atm.
I haven’t actually been to the dentist in years as I’ve always been really anxious about it. What should I do 😭

Sounds like it could be some calculus that's broken off on the back on your teeth rather than actual tooth? That's the most common place it builds up
