They cut some bits off my bits

Hello. A few months back some of you gave me some very helpful advice regarding my dyspareunia (so comforting to know the correct medical term for sore shagging) here. I finally got an appointment with a consultant gynaecologist who said, hmm, sounds like granulation tissue (I think). Then had a look and said, "Yes, as I suspected." and picked up a pair of huge comedy scissors and proceeded to cut some bits off my bits. I seriously thought it might be some cruel NHS punishment for timewasting.

It's not sore but I can't put anything up there for two weeks so can't yet report on whether it was a success. He also gave me some plastic tampon-looking things of graduated sizes to use after the two weeks to stretch it out. Am I the only person ever to have to stretch out her honeytrap after birth?

oh no, don't stretch it, use your situation as a bargaining tool

A) Sorry, no experience/help to offer
B) Poor you
C) Farking gynaecologists! Did he really set about your vagina with scissors without even telling you what was going on?

What should I try for? Diamond? Exotic foreign holiday?

PW:
A That's ok, just wanted to rant about it really.
B From what I've read on other threads I actually came out lightly.
C Pretty much! I mean, he said, I'm just going to remove these now, but that was about it for the foreplay.

Snort at that was it for the foreplay.

PMSL at comedy scissors. Good luck when you recommission the ol' honey trap.

Anesthetic?

bureaudenamechange · 07/10/2007 19:23

Katymac · 07/10/2007 19:26

Didn't it hurt - they mucked about with me down there.......I had extra anesthetic (sp)

bureaudenamechange · 07/10/2007 19:32

No, to be fair, it wasn't too bad, less sore than the dys...dyspara... the sore shagging. And he laid out the bits on a piece of gauze afterwards and showed them to me.

Katymac · 07/10/2007 19:34

Yuk...yuk...yuk...umm not much else to say but YUK (sorry)

oops, is granulation the same as a granuloma, i.e. made of blood vessels?
