Five a day.......how many keep count...how many don't even think about it?

HOw religeously do you count?

I have never been concious of it. In fact I probably average 4-5 a day over hte course of a week. Some days I will have lots. Other days I probably only have 1-2.

Am I the only one that doesn't reach 5 a day let alone count?

What exactly is a portion? Is it a fistful or something? Does it matter if it is a mixed veg?

I don't count, but when I've worked it out we average around 4 a day, which I don't think is terrible. Again, like you sometimes we have more and sometimes we have less. If I have a couple of days where I eat mostly processed food, I CRAVE salad/fruit/fruit juice anyway, so I'm fairly trusting of my own body to tell me what it needs anyway.

I remember reading a while back that the 5 a day thing is fairly arbitrary anyway and scientists only have positive studies/data while looking at the difference between people who have 1 or 2 a day compared to those who have none.

Conclusion: I don't worry

Did a quick google and found this so I wasn't imagining it.
