I have the most horrendous face pain

It is down the bone that goes along the side of my face, between my hairline and my jawbone, and right along my jaw to my mouth, and up over my ear.
It's agony, have taken my really strong painkillers but it's still tehre. Any suggestions?

Hope you get some sleep tonight Loopylou! Am about to go to bed, but dreading it as my face is throbbing! Have just taken Nurofen and am about to take Paramol too.
My dh is away this week and, as he has recently taken up snoring, I was really looking forward to getting some good nights sleep .
