Had LASIK yesterday... Already regretting?

I think I just want a hand hold...

I had LASIK done yesterday after contemplating it for over a year and deciding now was the right time money wise. I've been back for my check up today and was told I already have 20/20 vision in both eyes (yay!) but my left eye isn't healing as it should be - the white cells are stopping the flap from healing and I need to up my anti inflammatory drops and could potentially need the surgery done again to flush the white cells away.

I had read up on the risks and was aware of the night glare (which I had with glasses regardless) and the other issues, but now I have an actual issue I'm scared to death.

I'm trying to be positive in that they've told me the flushing will correct the issue, I think I'm just worried as I struggle quite a bit with anxiety and I'm now thinking worst case scenario.

Can I have a hand hold please? Sad

Has anyone had this themselves?

My friend spent about a week post LASIK surgery in tears, saying it was the worst thing she'd ever done and how could she have been so stupid. I think her eyes were so dry and gritty feeling she was convinced she'd destroyed her eyeballs forever. It improved rapidly after that and she's spent year raving about how wonderful it is, best money she ever spent!

I am so please to hear that, great news.

I'm back again with another question.

I had my 4 week check up yesterday. Pressure was perfect and eyes looking great. 20/20 vision and Optom happy with healing process.

I forgot to mention that my right eye (the one previously treated with steroids) sometimes feels quite heavy. As if I'm tired and my eyelid is drooping but Ive looked in the mirror and it doesn't appear different to the left eye. Has anyone had this?

Optom said I don't have dry eyes so just to use artifical tears 4 times daily so I wouldn't think it's because of that.

Any ideas? Other than ringing them again, for them to tell me my checks came back fine.

Hi there
I wonder how you're doing now? I've had my lasik surgery about a month ago, and although I'm not having the same problem you had I have another problem that requires another intervention from the doctor, I'm so scared and regretting it especially that my vision has been fluctuating too much lately. I guess I also need a hand hold
