My mum said that she saw something on the programme "This Morning" about worms and kids this week. She was a little sketchy with details but muttered something about de-worming kids regulary as so many get worms and we know nothing. Can anyone shed some light? My ds always having itchy bum not sure if he has worms and where can I buy de-worming things. thanks, really cannot be dealing with the doctors hope that I can get something over the counter

Over the counter I believe but you have to treat the whole family and hot-wash bed linen and pants etc to do it properly

When your ds is in bed asleep go in and have a look at his bum with the light on, if he has worms there will be moving white worms around his bum area.
You can buy the stuff from the chemist about 8 quid for a family packet.
Keep nails short and was hands after loo etc.
If you dont see anything the first time check again later, they come out at night, not sure if its a time thing or a warm and cozy thing under the covers.

)vex - you have to treat the whole family though and be scruprulous about hygiene and washing jamas and bed linen etc....
