My daughter has been prescribed this for allergies. I haven't given it to her yet because there are some awful reviews online. Anyone given this to a child and can give me review thank you

DD has been taken it since she was 3, she’s 7 now and on 5mg
We’ve had no issues whatsoever, in terms of adverse effects and I don’t doubt that it’s keot her from being v poorly at times, as she was prescribed it due to hospitalisations for asthma

It made my son very tearful and sort of nervous aggression. It stopped within a few days of stopping taking it. The doctor prescribed something different instead. It was worth trying though.

My DD was prescribed it at 2 years old and it changed her life. She hasn't had a single hospital admission since starting it... she's a changed child: more energy, no coughing or wheezing, sleeping better, she feels sturdier and stronger!

Thanks all. My daughter has been prescribed it for allergies so slightly different from asthma. Some horrific reviews on Google so wanted to see if there were any reviews on here. Thank you

My D's was prescribed this but I didn't give it to him after reading the side effects. We manage on inhalers.

Jben4176 · 31/08/2023 14:44

Hi thanks for reply I didn’t end up giving him it either kept him on the inhalers also I don’t like the risk of the side effects and think the doctors should be telling us about them I was told they was no side affects 🙈xx

One of my sons is on this, but 10mg and it's been great for him. It's cleared up his allergies even hayfever. He was already about 16 when he started on it though, so a lot older. I don't think he gets any side effects.
