Is headache a symptom of hayfever?

I don't really think if myself as a hayfever sufferer but I do get some symptoms on the worst days. I'm assuming today would be one of those?

I woke up this morning with ridiculously sore eyes and a raging headache which isn't shifting with paracetamol or no matter how much water I drink.

Hayfever?

Could be - if your hay fever/allergies is causing sinus congestion. If you want to go medicine way then try sudafed sinus relief. Else use hot water bottle for 20-35 minutes on your forehead, cheeks, nose , eyes (cover all sinuses with 2-3 minute per area) it will give you relief. If your headaches keep repeating then consult your GP for advise to use antihistamine routinely.

I often get a headache when my hayfever is bad, or weirdly depending on the weather - i think it's to do with the atmospheric pressure.

Yes my daughter gets this. For a long time she was having daily headaches and then we realised it was from March to September and now she takes hay fever meds she is fine

Yeah I get hayfever headaches, they are always shifted with antihistamine and paracetamol. Like pps have said, it’s the sinus part of it that causes mine.

PurpleDaisies · 31/07/2020 15:32

Definitely. It’s the worst thing about mine.
