Hi, I have been struggling with a tiny white patch at the back wall of the throat. It appeared around 10th July and its been more than 2 weeks, it's still there and not going away. I have contacted gp 4 times on call appointments and I have attached the same pictures to him too but he's saying it can be tonsil stone or maybe I'm coming down with an infection etc but after this long it should've been more clear now but nothing is happening. I'm not having any fever, no pain, no sore throat etc but I do have a lot of pollen allergies so lots of post nasal drop the last few days. I am really paranoid, if anybody can be of any help? Thanks loads xx

It's hardly visible in photos but trust me its there and is almost a centimetre lengthwise. Yesterday I tried to remove it with a cotton swab, took me a few strokes but it was wiped of. Nothing was visible on the cotton bag swab but now I can see it coming back again.

I'm sorry you're feeling anxious about this.

I have to be honest that I can't really see what you're talking about.

You've spoken to your GP four times, including showing them these photos, and the GP has said there is nothing to worry about.

What do you think that posting on Mumsnet is going to do? There are a few Gps on here, but they won't give you a diagnosis.

Do you usually have health anxiety?

That's your skin, at worst it's collecting mouth gunk for a tonsil stone. There's nothing there to worry about.

@littlefish thank you for your reply. I have posted here to see if anyone can relate and share their personal experience because that really helps me with anxiety. I have to admit that I do get health related anxiety ALOT 😢
