Stubborn rash that wont go away - intertrigo?

I've been battling rashes in my armpits for the last 6 weeks. I'm not sure if it's been one rash or a few different types.

It always starts off as a really sore, red rash. At first I was using steroid cream to calm it down, but it made it a lot worse.

On two occasions I ended up with folliculitis which was VERY sore, and got prescribed antibiotics on both occasions.

The tablets cured the folliculitis, but this other rash keeps coming back and I cant seem to get rid of it.

From what I've read online, it looks and sounds a bit like intertrigo.

I bough some Canesten a couple days ago and have been using that 3 times per day. I think it might be improving but it's really hard to tell.

My armpits still feel quite sore and the skin feels tight if I try to raise my arms.

I also bought some HibiScrub today so have started using that, no idea if it will make any difference though.

Does anyone have any tips? I can't get in the doctors until next week and plus I've sorta lost faith in my GP anyway, as it is hard to get a straight answer from them

This is really starting to affect my quality of life as it means I cant go jogging or do any exercise incase it gets worse :(

I forgot to mention, the doc also prescribed me Timodine cream but it didn't seem to help, and I thought it might have been making things worse (maybe cos it has a steroid in too)

Shaving rash? Waxing reaction?
