Senokot taken in morning...is that OK? Not pregnant btw

I have not been for a few days so mother in law has given me some senokot. I chucked 2 back at 1pm then realised it said overnight and I've had some lunch. Will it be ok that I took it in day time and eat? I am worrying now

I think it just says to take before bed so you sleep though the tummy gripes and grumbles and flatulence. Also so that hopefully you do your poop first thing in the morning, not when you're out the next day. Stay near the toilet.

They just say take it at night so that it does it’s work overnight and then you can have a poo in the morning. So hopefully you’ll be able to go this evening instead. Don’t worry.

Phew thanks ladies and thanks for replying I did not expect a reply to my funny poo drama and rang the chemist who said it is fine and fine to eat etc and that I will probably just go tonight which is fine. I can even have a wine haha

Just don't stray too far from the loo. There was nothing 'gentle and predictable' about my laxative experience.
