southeastastra · 29/09/2007 20:14

i'm here already!

charliecat · 29/09/2007 20:14

Right......... lets get you sorted. You need to watch that allen car vid till you can watch it in slow mode and repeat it word for word.
I cant actually tell you how fantastic you will feel when you overcome this smoking demon.

i know, i really don't have anyone that nags me to stop here.

charliecat · 29/09/2007 20:20

Yourself, your own body? Somethings pulling you back to me once every few months. You dont really need me to NAG you into it, you WANT to stop smoking.
You know you do, you just need to muster the energy to do it, to stick to it, and you need to educate yourself so that NO MATTER WHAT happens, you dont have Just One. As no shit sherlock, that just one leads you to a whole bloody 6 months more or it again.

it is my body telling me it's had enough now.

charliecat · 29/09/2007 20:38

Ok, so LISTEN to it. Do everything you can to get yourself off and away from the bloody things, be selfish. Spend hours devouring whyquit.com if you have to, re-educate the addicted bits of the brain so they UNDERSTAND why it is you keep going back to them/never quite break the habit(read thats as hefty addiction)
People do do it(me) it really is possible.
My mum, smoker for ...oh 30-35 years, shes stopped.
She doesnt smoke anymore. And it doesnt bother her at all.
It bothered me, but it was worth the fight.
So, plan of action?
