Anyone had any issues post TVT for stress incontinence?

I had TVT inserted in 2017 due to stress incontinence following my second baby. At the time I didn't ready about the operation or the issues that some women have had following it.

Everything has been fine (although to be fair it didn't make a massive amount of difference) until a month or so ago. I've been having some aching pains in my groin and then started having some pain during sex.

Had a feel around (sorry tmi!) and I can feel a solid ridge on the inside of me. It's sore to touch.

I'm just really paranoid that one of the tapes has come loose or something!!! My DH thinks I'm being over dramatic. I have a GP appointment for Friday but would be grateful to hear from anyone that has had the surgery and had any issues like this!! Ideally with a positive / easy outcome!!!

Thanks x

Please speak to your GP. There's been a lot in the news recently about TVT being found to be unsuitable, moving, causing scarring & other issues. You're not being silly.

Sorry I've not had the surgery but been following recent press.

THIS MIGHT HELP

Thank you, this is helpful (if slightly terrifying!)

Please try not to worry. Not all have problems but it's really worth checking it out just to be sure. Good luck.
