BCG Vaccination 6 weeks ago, spots now oozing, normal?

Hi, ds3 is 2.8 but only got his BCG shots 6 weeks ago ( long story!) They have now started to ooze. Is this normal and what should I do?

IIRC, this is normal, although you can cover it up until a scab forms it shouldn't be an airtight dressing, also try and keep it dry but don't need to protect it from water in the bath or anything.

I'll see if I can find the website that I looked at for my ds's jab.

Sorry, I can't find it now. I do think its ok, but if you're still worried perhaps check with your HV?

Thanks, rosmerta! I rang our Doctor on Call service and was told this is fine. Vaguely seem to remember being told to expect this when he got the jab but probably not paying enough attention as usual!
