Strange Periods/Menopause/Peri Menopause???

I have had some very strange periods recently I am 45 now and for the last few months my periods arrive approximately 2 or even 3 weeks later but I get period pains around the time that it was due and also when the period arrives. Any advice from any of you or is the beginning of my menopause ??? thanks

Sounds very like my experience of perimenopause, but I would run it past a GP tbh - can't hurt, might help

Irregular periods are definitely one of the 35 symptoms of menopause, but (unfortunately) can also be attributed to several other conditions (even stress).

The best advice when you encounter a change to your "normal" routine is simply to get checked out with your health care provider.
