Unbelievably scared of dark blood in poop.

Hi, I have hemorrhoids that can be seen a little prolapsing. For past year I’ve had on and off blood, mostly bright blood so I thought hemorrhoids but now for the last couple of months I’ve been seeing a little dark blood and I’m freaking out fully. I had camera test scheduled but that didn’t happen cause of Covid now I’m super scared. If anyone has any inputs please say something.

You need to push for a camera test. Dark poop is something to be worried about but ISNT necessarily the big C. You may have Colitis or Crohns. You mentioned your hemmaroids, were they bought on my excessive bowl emptying? This could indicate Colitis.

Hey @IndiaMay I go to the loo once a day, my hemorrhoids were bought in last year when I use to strain and have never really gone, but since then I’ve improved what I eat and I don’t need to strain no more. My poop isn’t necessarily dark but has slight dark blood stained mucas in parts of it. Just really praying it’s nothing serious.

The mucus and the blood is a signal for conditions unless you have had an identifiable stomach upset. Go for the bum cam, those symptoms should get you on a 2ww.
