I can’t wear shoes!

I wear sandals for most of the year. Unless it’s freezing or pouring with rain I always wear sandals. When I try to wear shoes (or even just socks) I get unbearable hot, not just my feet but my whole body.

My husband and I are planning on doing a charity walk in a few months so I’ve just brought some walking boots and I’m trying to break them in. A short walk up the road and I’m dripping in sweat, but I walk for miles in my sandals with no problems! Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem or knows why this happens? I can’t put anything on my feet!!

It could be habit. You are use to sandals so shoes feels suffocating.
Medically burning feet is a symptom of diabetes or menopause.
If you have to wear shoes then buy some breathable trainers (mesh ones) with 100 percent cotton socks instead of mixed polyester ones.
