I can’t wear shoes!

I wear sandals for most of the year. Unless it’s freezing or pouring with rain I always wear sandals. When I try to wear shoes (or even just socks) I get unbearable hot, not just my feet but my whole body.

My husband and I are planning on doing a charity walk in a few months so I’ve just brought some walking boots and I’m trying to break them in. A short walk up the road and I’m dripping in sweat, but I walk for miles in my sandals with no problems! Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem or knows why this happens? I can’t put anything on my feet!!

It could be habit. You are use to sandals so shoes feels suffocating.
Medically burning feet is a symptom of diabetes or menopause.
If you have to wear shoes then buy some breathable trainers (mesh ones) with 100 percent cotton socks instead of mixed polyester ones.

Could you get hiking sandals for your charity walk?
