my 2 yr old ds has been 'poorly' for quite a while, lethargic, loose grainy stools, temperatures come and go for no apparent reason, irritable, miserable, complains of pains in tummy, night sweats, swpollen glands in neck and groin. he has always been small and frail. doctors not very helpful at first just put it down to viral infections. recently things got worse and when he started to loose weight i took him back and asked for tests to be carried out, he had blood tests for celiac, diabetes and full blood count and liver function. all came back neg except that he was aneamic and has bee put on iron. is anyone been in this situation and has found out anything. i have been advised that it could be food allergies/intolerances????????

I'm sorry, that sounds upsetting - especially being fobbed off by the doctors. I can't help (though diet sounds like one possible cause, which food intolerance would be linked to), but am bumping for you.
