Does this sound like skin cancer? Worried

I have a small approx 1cm spot at the tip of my nose, if I’m being honest I’ve probably had it around 2 years but it’s becoming more obvious. It’s flat and pinkish and if looking really closely can maybe see some blood vessels inside. It doesn’t weep or scab though it’s just there and can be covered with make up.
I had planned to go to the doctors and looked it up online and saw some pictures of people after
Surgery on their nose and it terrifies me so I put it to the back of my mind.
But I think I really should have it checked. Does anyone have any experience with anything similar? Thanks

Is it totally flat, does it look like a collection of broken veins, if so I have two and I have had them under the dermoscope and there was nothing behind them, just broken veins.

I would contact a GP if you are worried, things only get worse and bigger with time, so thats a motivation to do it.

Thanks for your reply, it’s slightly raised I can feel it if I put my finger over it. I called the GP this morning and they asked me to send pictures so waiting for a call back from them. I think i just scared myself into doing anything about it. Thanks again for your reply Smile

I know two people that have had surgery on their noses for skin cancer and you can barely notice. Because they had it done at an early stage. You are best off getting it looked at now just in case it is something.

It could be a fibrous papule, they often occur on the nose, but always best to check any skin changes/lumps or bumps.
