Is this herpes/cold sore? Pic..and does it mean he cheated

Dh keeps touching it and scabbing it. He says its not herpes. He gets cold sores on his lower lip every few months but this is a new one location wise.

And if it is why does he have it in a new place?

Does it mean he cheated on me?

I had one cold sore on my upper lip at 19 and then it laid dormant since then. we have not been having sex for a few years very occasionally kiss.

Even if it is a coldsore, you can get them randomly in a place which isn't in the usual place. I have.

It's a bit forward to to think he's having an affair. Unless there are other things? Maybe you both need to address your issues, that's sad that you don't even kiss.

That looks like a spot and one that has been picked a lot. Even if it was a coldsore, it looks like he shaves so perhaps it virus just migrated on his face a little. But again, I think it does just look like a nasty spot or perhaps a little boil/ingrown hair that he has picked.

Thank you all. Yes he picks a lot, he's given himself infections before from picking wounds over and over again. Never learns.
