DS fell into a clump today and I had no idea what to do (we were out so had nothing really anyway) but DH thinks there is something you can get for things like that - is there? Thanks x

a dock leaf, they grow near nettles

coleyboy · 23/09/2007 20:58

Dock (sp?) leaves take the sting away. They are usually found growing near stinging nettles.

Inside of a banana skin also good.

A dose of piriton will help.

what everyone else said, works a treat

Bewilderbeast · 23/09/2007 21:00

rub a dock leaf on it and take some piriton

Whooosh · 23/09/2007 21:00

Dock leaves definitely.
If too late then bicarb of soda dissolved in water.
Sting should naturally wear off after a couple of hours regardless.

Really? I thought that was a school day myth! He is in bed now, but good to know for next time!
