best way to give medicine to a newborn

got a syringe from boots but am sure it doesnt do the palate any good as LO crunched on it today = ouch!

any suggetions??

Put the syringe just inside the corner of his mouth and be very patient. Do it drop by drop.

oh bril thanks very much that would explain why LO wasnt happy - perhaps gave med too fast
