Quick Poll - How many men that you know have had vasectomies and how many have been infected /ill?

Dh has just seen Carol's thread about her exh and having to have his scrotum removed after his vasecomy went wrong.

We're not thinking of a vasectomy (quite the opposite)

But, just to reassure him for in the distant future.........

I know of six men who have had trouble free ops and not one who has had trouble.

My DH had no problems - had the op on Friday and was back at work the following Monday. Vasectomy has done wonders for our sex life but I do feel for the men who have had problems.

DH had his done at end of July - no problems.

dh and my friend's dh both had it done on the same day, as out patients.

Neither had the slightest problem.

DH had his done a year last April. He was ok other than developed a hernia after it which needed further surgery. It also took nearly a year for him to get the all clear!
