Is it really possible to 'feed a bug' or is that just a myth?

DS has a bug. He vomits once every twenty four hours or so, and has done so since Saturday. In between times, he's OK - a bit lethargic coz he keeps throwing up a full day's food. By feeding him, are we really feeding the bug???

My DD is 11 months old and has the same thing. Has been vomiting since Fri night - horrible nappies too. I rang NHS direct who said to carry on offering regular food and milk even though lots comes back up. It's messy, but hopefully will end soon. Good luck !

That's consoling milllie - I was starting to get concerned because it's been a week now. And he's lost quite a bit of weight, which he can ill afford! Here's wishing them bth better.
