What could this be in my urine?

Last few weeks I've noticed maybe 4-5 times after going for a wee that I have what I can only describe as a cotton wool ball floating in my urine. Sometimes it's the size of say a penny the other times like last night it was about the size of a fifty pence piece even slightly bigger maybe.
The cotton wool as I'll call it is very white , no foaming, and I have no other symptoms connected to a UTI so don't think it's that.
I remember seeing this before in my urine a few times a few years ago but obviously went away on its own.
Just wondering what it could be or if anyone has had this? In case it's relevant I'm 51 with no periods so not period related!

Vaginal discharge?

Have you had intercourse recently? Might be a UTI with no other symptoms, vaginal fluid or semen?

kissmelittleass · 29/05/2020 14:27

@Elouera not in a relationship no intercourse so nothing sexually related. I don't have any discharge either, bit strange!

Could it be albumin

ATowelAndAPotato · 29/05/2020 14:46

Protein chain? Maybe a slight infection? They aren’t always painful to start with.

@ATowelAndAPotato @HappyHammy thanks for replying, I looked it up but it says it would show as fizzy, frothy or bubbles in the urine and that isn't the case with me. The urine is normal looking, still so no froth or anything just at random times I have as described the white floating substance? Like as if you broke off bits of cotton wool.
As I said in op it's not every day or every time I go toilet it's just every now and then!
