Out of interest....would you give another dose of calpol/neurofen if the first is vomited back within 15mins?

I wouldn't but just wondered what you would do.

It would probably depend on how old the child was, but I'm fairly laid back about dosage of calpol etc after ds2 and dd once got hold of a half full bottle and shared it between them . We took them off to A&E and they said even if one of them had drunk half the bottle it wouldn't have been dangerous. So I don't think the nurse's advice was dangerous tbh and probably less dangerous than a high temperature in a young child.
