DS2 had an accident at school this morning, balancing on a spade in the sandpit. The handle fell off and he very nearly impaled himself on the stick . He fell onto it with quite some force as he was trying to dig, hard.
He was shocked and upset, but calmed down OK and has been charging around, his normal very energetic self ever since.
The stick actually drove into the side of his testicle. When I first saw it 30 minutes later, it looked like a nasty graze. Now it has spread to a red area 10p sized. It looks very sore - like damaged skin - is very tender to the touch and a little raised, but the testicle itself is not swollen.
Apart from a bath, I'm not sure what else to do for it. Because of the area, I'm tempted to check with the doctor. Any thoughts most welcome.
