Permission to talk to my mum's new GP

I have had permission to talk about my mum's condition and medication with her gp for years (after a particularly bad UTI)

She has moved GP (against her will as she moved into a nursing/end of life home)

Does that permission travel with the change or will I have to try and get a new one in place?

My dad's gp would only speak to me once they had a copy of the Power of attorney for health. When my dad fractured his hip and needed surgery the hospital also needed to see that I had POA for health so if your mum is of sound mind get it while you can.

Too late: as we had such a good relationship with the old GP we didn't do anything - we never considered her moving GP surgeries
