How do i get my cold out!!!!

as ive had it for ove 2 weeks now and im feeling knackered and looking knackered. Ive been feeling the cold is trying to come out for a while but its seems to be stuck inside my nose. My mucus is clear but its runny.

my ears are blocked and my jaw is achy!!
my head is so sore esp around my nose and forehead, Ive taken 2 Sudafeds in one go but only once and it didnt work. Usually it does.

But it seems to calm down after ive had a hot bath!.

Come on cold!!!! ggrrr!!!!!

steam inhaler maybe?

sugar free olbas pastilles ... i keep one of those on my tongue all night when I'm bunged up. SO long as you don't mind waking with weird coloured mouth.
[sudafed gives me insomnia]
also prop yourself up on pillows at night

But prob should see doc as ears and jaw sounds like could be sinusitis and might need antibiotics.

I agree with hot bath, try having a hot toddy as well.

Whisky, hot water and sugar. I usually drink it while in the bath and it sweats the cold out of me.

maybe a viral infection, sounds like something me and DH have had, especially if accompanied by some dizziness, really hot flushes, weird pains just about everywhere

DH had antibiotics, did nothing for it.

also felt really really tired, with strange pains/pressure on my breast bone and in between my shoulder blades

two weeks ago retired to bed with a lempsip, feeling a bit better now, but have been told to expect at least another week

couple of sessions of hopi ear candles to unblock ears and sinuses
avoid dairy and oranges - they make you produce loads of mucous
copious amounts of vit c and a strong zinc tab
echinacea
paracetamol

works for me everytime

im off to have a hot bath again, another lemsip and ill ring the docs in the morning (i will make a hot toddy tmrw as no whiskey atm).

i cant even talk either without my head banging!!
