Hair stuck in tonsil making me gag

2 nights ago I accidentally gargled some water with a long hair in which has now got stuck in my tonsil. This keeps making me gag intermittently. I’ve tried dry bread and fizzy water but neither have helped. GP suggested if it’s not better by Monday to get a nasal endoscopy but I’m terrified due to the corona risk. Please help.

@PeachesPlumsPears that’s an interesting one! Although due to the lockdown i have no access to cabbage. I am starting to lose hope. Only have one more day to get it sorted before the scope.

Crisps must be able to dislodge it, keep drinking loads of water .. if you can't see it I'm wondering if it's been dislodged but has scratched your tonsil so keep gargling with salty water - poor you hope it gets sorted soon x
